Thomas Lee Collier, 78, passed away on November 19, 2024 at 8:55 P.M. in Greeley CO. Thomas was born on November 16, 1946 in Bloomington, Illinois to parents Leonard "Buck" Edward Collier and Virginia May Collier (Bradford).
Thomas was a wanderer whose love of being a truck driver was well known. He grew up in Illinois and began his wandering with his move to Florida in the early 70s. From there he lived in several states, landing in Colorado and calling it his final home.
He was married to Patricia Lee Gwin on February 24, 1968. He and Patricia had three children, Lori Ann Dawson (Glen), Thomas Lee, Jr. and Scott Wayne (Tracy). Patricia passed on January 5, 2004.
He was married to Julie Raye Parks on June 10, 1985. He and Julie had one child, Amanda Lynn Bauman (Geary). Julie passed on November 3, 2019 in Flint, Michigan where they made their final home together.
Favorite interests included "tinkering" with classic cars and model building. Thomas was a lover of Mopar Cars and he loved the Roadrunner.
His family will remember his ornery nature, his mischievous laugh, the twinkle in his eye and the stories he told.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents Leonard "Buck" Collier and Virginia May Collier (Bradford), John Collier (Brother), and his beloved grandson Brenden Robert-Lee Bauman.
Thomas is survived by his sister, Alice "Sis" Collier. Also surviving are his children, Lori Dawson and spouse Glen Davis Dawson, Thomas Lee Collier Jr., Scott Collier and spouse Tracy, Amanda Bauman and fiancé Geary Bauman; 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and many more friends and family.
Friends and family will be having a private gathering to be announced at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Collier family in care of Lighthouse Family Mortuary.
