Thompson Harveson & Cole Funeral Home & CrematoryJames Louis Collier (Jim), age 70, passed away Friday, August 22, 2025 in Keller, Texas.
Jim was born September 5, 1954 in Fort Worth, Texas to J.W. (Billy) and Mary O. Collier. He was a lifelong member of Broadway Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and in other capacities.
A 1972 graduate of Paschal High School, Jim attended the University of Texas at Austin where he received both his Bachelor and Master of Business Administration degrees in Finance in 1978. After graduation, Jim worked in commercial Real Estate in Dallas, Texas. While at UT, Jim was a proud member of the Longhorn band for 6 years. He remained active in the Alumni Chapter of the band for many years thereafter.
Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 10, 2025 in the sanctuary of Broadway Baptist Church, 305 W Broadway, Fort Worth, Texas. Reception will follow in the Centrum.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his siblings, John Collier (Lynn), Betty Collier, and Mary Jane Tohlen; nieces and nephews, Anna Godwin (Brandon), John Mark Tohlen (Sarah), Sarah Bartels (Matt), David Collier (Riley), William Tohlen (Leesha), and Michael Collier; and a host of great nieces and nephews.
