Tommy, formerly of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away at the age of 83 years old, in San Juan Puerto Rico. He was the beloved husband of Lucy Juarbe. Devoted father of Natasha and James. Father-in-law to Denise. Loving grandfather to Kirra and Naia. Tommy was a fun-loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents James and Mary Taylor Conway; his sister Joan Conway and brothers-in-law John Faris and Raymond Stotts. Tommy was the beloved brother of Mary Pat Faris, Linda Stotts, Camilla Depp (Joseph), Lawrence (Elizabeth), Ralph (Denise), and Gloria Puzausky (Stanley).
Graduating from St. James High School, in the West End of Pittsburgh in 1959, he worked several jobs, attended Duquesne University and graduated in 1965. He worked for FDIC, examining banks in New York and throughout the United States. He then transferred to a branch in San Juan, Puerto Rico. There he met his beautiful wife, Lucy and remained in Puerto Rico to raise their family. Tommy loved the warm weather and oceanfront views from their home.
Tommy was a huge sports fan and loved the Pirates, Steelers, and Yankees. He had a great sense of humor and loved playing pranks on his family. He sacrificed and saved to be a loving provider and protector to all around him.
A Committal Service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM, in the chapel of St. Mary's Cemetery, 16 Middletown Rd., McKees Rocks, PA 15136. Arrangements entrusted to ANTHONY G. STAAB FUNERAL HOME, INC., 900 Chartiers Ave., Pgh., PA 15220.
