Thomas Coughlin Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
His ashes will be interred with Military Honors at Fort Custer Memorial Cemetery Columbarium, 15501 Dickman Road, Augusta, MI, alongside his spouse and love of his life, Donald Duane Slater, on October 23, 2025, at 10 AM, and all are welcome
A Celebration of his life will take place at 1:00 p.m. on the same day at Unity Church of Kalamazoo, 1209 Whites Road.
Tom will be remembered for his kindness and his friendship. He loved his church, his family, and friends. He was a fantastic photographer, and he loved studying the German Language with his friends in his German Club. Camping, mentoring fellow photographers, and woodworking!
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body; but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries & Chocolate in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "Woo Hoo! What a Ride!"
