Thomas Kenard "Kenny" Davis, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2026, at Kindred Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born on March 8, 1936, in Richmond County, Kenny lived a full and meaningful life of 89 years.

Kenny was known for his tremendous work ethic, which he instilled in his family and carried through his career. He worked as a skilled Volkswagen mechanic before dedicating over 30 years to Ramtex as a warp tier. His commitment to excellence was evident in all aspects of his professional life.

Beyond his work, Kenny's passions brought joy to both him and his loved ones. He shared many adventures with his cherished wife, Pauline, as they traveled together. Kenny found peace and joy in annual fishing trips to the Outer Banks with his friends, where he was known for cooking hearty breakfasts. A lover of bluegrass and gospel music, Kenny also cherished his Monday morning breakfasts with his dear friend and caretaker, Angie.

A man of deep faith, Kenny was a faithful member of Cedar Falls Baptist Church. His devotion to his Lord and Savior was paramount in his life, guiding his actions and relationships. A proud veteran of the United States Army, Kenny served his country with honor and integrity.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, William Thomas and Gertrude Phillips Davis, and his brothers, Buddy Davis and Eugene Davis. He is survived by his wife, Pauline Davis, daughters, Barbara Davis of the home, and Belinda Hunt (Billy) of Thomasville; his grandchildren, Brandi Spears (Will), Brittany Lyon (Jacob), Toshia Watson (Kenneth), and Alex Mears (Peggy). Kenny also leaves behind eight great-grandchildren: Caleb Spears, Easton Lyon, Bennett Lyon, Asher Lyon, Kayson Watson, Taylor Watson, Peyton Mears and Ava Mears. His loving sister, Etta Mae Booros (Jim), survives him along with nephews, Mike Booros (Marti) and Tommy Booros.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at Loflin Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Pastor Jason Baker. Burial will take place at New Hope Gardens in Asheboro.

Kenny's legacy of love, faith, and dedication will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him. His spirit will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
