Thomas W. Dever

Thoams W. Dever, 89, of Eagleville, Pa, went home to be with the Lord on November 21, 2023, at home with his loving wife Ann.
Tom served in the U.S. Army paratroop division from January 7, 1952 to August 6, 1954. Tom was the son of the late Thomas and Florene (nee Glisson) Dever from Conshohocken, Pa. in addition to his beloved wife Ann (nee Sibel), Tom is survived by 2 daughters, Tammy (Ken) Maugher of Pottstown, Pa, and Tiffany (Chris) Batzel of Narron, and 2 step-sons Carl (Dodie) Schlotterer of Norristown, and Glenn Schlotterer of Norristown, Pa, daughter-in-law Melody Dever, sister-in-law Joyce Dever of Norristown, Pa; brother Albert (Peggy), and sister Mary McGough (Donna Leddy); and 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Tom owned and operated his own painting business "Tom Dever Painting." He, along with his wife Ann, currently attend Cornerstone Fellowship in Audubon. Tom was an avid dart player for 50 years; receiving many trophies. He and Ann enjoyed dancing, especially ballroom dancing. He loved travelling, cruises, bus trips, and going to Ocean City, NJ, with family and friends.
Tom was preceded in death by 2 sisters, and brother-in-law, Florence (Peter) Mastrocola, Roberta Jean (Jim) Burks, 1 brother William Dever, step-daughter Victoria Lantz, and son Tom, Jr.
Relatives and Friends are invited to Tom's Life Celebration at Cornerstone Fellowship Church, 1170 Rittenhouse Rd., Audubon, Pa 19403 at 12:30PM, followed by his memorial service at 1 PM on Friday, December 8, 2023.
