Thomas Jeconiah "Tony" Dixon Jr.

Thomas Jeconiah "Tony" Dixon, Jr., known to many as "Buckwild," passed away on March 1, 2025, at the age of 58. Born on June 7, 1966, in Scotland Neck, NC, Tony lived a life filled with hard work and simple pleasures.
For over 34 years, Tony dedicated himself to his career as a truck driver, navigating the highways with skill and dedication. Outside of work, Tony was an avid fisherman, often found by the water with a fishing rod in hand. He had a passion for racing, relishing the thrill of speed and competition. At home, he loved nothing more than cooking on the grill, sharing meals and laughter with family and friends. His days were incomplete without a cup of coffee or a can of Diet Mountain Dew, both of which fueled his days.
Tony is predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Amy Warren Dixon and his sister Terry Dixon. He is survived by his loving wife, Christy Anderson of Rocky Mount; his daughter, Jessica Dixon of Gaston; his son, Thomas Dixon of Roanoke Rapids; and his two grandsons, Julian Johnston and Brendan Dixon.
Services to honor Tony's life will be held at a later date.
