Thomas Fenlon was my Uncle, known to me and my family as Uncle Tom. He's one of the best role models that you could ever find. He loved making people laugh and his Faith always inspired me to hang onto mine, even in hard times. A few months ago, I got a call from God to go to a public high school and be a Witness/Evangelist to the kids at that school. And the voice that told me to do that, kind of sounded like Uncle Tom's. Like Uncle Tom was the messenger that gave me that call. Sometimes when I'm praying I can still see him in my head which gives me a lot of hope that he's not truly gone, he's in Heaven

One of my favorite memories with him was probably seeing my very first Broadway show. We saw Aladdin and it was absolutely phenomenal. Another one would be going to the Cloisters and putting a palm in front of the statue of Jesus on a Donkey during Palm Sunday and learning about the amazing Unicorn tapestry there, along with seeing all of the amazing Catholic Artifacts. I also loved all of his jokes and all of his Homilies.

Whenever a priest during his homily or someone else during a talk or something says 'Can I get an Amen?' I think of Uncle Tom because he always loved a good Amen and I would be one of the boldest ones there. He's truly one of the most 'Front Row' Catholics I have ever met and I love him so much.

Eternal Rest grant unto him, Oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen!

Father Fenlon, your selfless spirit and undying dedication to God will always live in my heart. You served Holy Communion to my parents every Sunday while they were in the nursing home, oversaw my Mother“s Requiem Mass, and blessed my new home. On behalf of The Fraser Family, I thank you for leaving behind a sacred legacy beyond compare along with your everlasting light that will brightly shine in the souls whose lives you have profoundly touched.
