Thomas Albert Gawel, of Commerce Twp., passed away on May 31, 2025 at the age of 82.
He is survived by his daughters, Wendy (Eric) Wroby and Justine Gawel; grandchildren, Joshua,
Mathew (Ashlee), Gabriel and Ava; sister, Barbara Zielinski as well as extended family and friends.
Thomas is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 53 years, Delphine A. Gawel
Visitation will take place at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 404 E. Liberty St., Milford on Thursday, June 5, 2025 from 3-8 PM.
Funeral Liturgy will be held at St. Mary Our Lady of the Snows, 1955 E. Commerce St., Milford on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 11 AM with gathering to begin at 10 AM. The Rev. Fr. Tomy Kattikanayil to officiate. Burial to take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield, MI.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions encouraged to:
