He resided in Chicopee, Massachusetts and graduated from Chicopee Comprehensive High School. A loving husband, father, brother, and especially grandfather, Thomas was a beacon of strength and love to everyone who knew him.
Thomas dedicated many years of service to Bekins Truck Company and Spalding Sports, where he was well-respected for his hard work and creative problem-solving skills. He was known for his strength, calm demeanor, and deep commitment to his family.
A talented and passionate individual, Thomas enjoyed playing softball through out his life and most recently for the Western Ma Relics, he also engaged in woodworking projects, was skilled in playing pool, and he took pride in beautifully landscaping lawns. His love for music was evident in the joy he found in listening to his favorite songs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Stella and Francis Gawron, and his siblings Fran, Anthony, Karl, Richard, Michael, and Barbara (Kosciolek) Gawron.
His love for his family was evident in every facet of his life, but he held a special place in his heart for his three cherished grandchildren. His dedication to them was palpable, and his legacy will live on in them. His memory will be cherished and kept alive by his loved ones who survive him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Cottage Hill Church, 315 Cottage Street in Springfield MA on July 18, 2025, from 5-7pm, where friends and family will gather to honor his memory.
