My heart and prayers go out to his immediate family and to his family and friends at Dave's. He fit in at Dave's perfectly, he was very friendly to whom ever crossed his path. Tom will be missed to all that knew him.

To the whole Gerry clan, I am so sad and so sorry about Tommy's passing. My heart breaks for all of you and for the rest of us, his extended family. You are all in my prayers during this challenging time. May Tommy's bright smile and laughter be the memory that shines through amidst the sorrow, and may God hold him in the palm of His hand.

I will always have fond memories of Tom during my time at Dave's. He was the kind of guy who loved to stir the pot. If I talked about something in the news, he always took the opposing side. Not just the news, everything else too! When I told him I was going to school to be a teacher, he quizzed me on everything under the sun that had to do with education, from the rules of exponents to the appropriate amount of sleep kids should get per night. It took me years to figure out his game! I remember one time, we were gearing up for a hurricane and Meg and I were working the lunch shift, with Tom. Meg and I weren't the least but concerned about the storm. By the end of our shift, Tom had us so terrified about the storm that we went crazy boarding up our apartments and stocking up on soup and water! We laughed about that for years. I love and cherish those memories. Tom will truly be missed.

So sad to hear this news. Tommy and I grew up together in Natick's High Street neighborhood. Many hours of running around as little kids. We lost touch after high school but I will always remember him as a fun loving, loyal friend and soul. My prayers are with the Gerry family in this most difficult time. Rest in peace, my friend.
