Thomas “Tommy” Gill, 65, of Indianapolis, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2025. He was born October 17, 1959, to Ronald Gill and the late Norma Dee Gill.

Tommy graduated from Martinsville High School in 1978 and went on to build a career dedicated to serving others and bringing joy to those around him. He worked at Aid Ambulance, Ray Skillman Auto Mall, and later as a manager at Chuck E. Cheese, where his lively personality shined.

On October 17, 1992, Tommy married the love of his life, Susie, and together they shared more than 30 years of happiness, laughter, and love. His family was the center of his world, and he was a proud husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Tommy is survived by his beloved wife, Susie Gill; his children Whitney (Matt) Long, Joseph (Jessica) Gill, Andrew Gill, and William (Misshel) Breen; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; his father, Ronald Gill; and brothers Terry Gill, Tim Gill, and Troy Gill. He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Dee Gill, and his son, Robert Breen.

Known as the life of the party, Tommy will always be remembered for his sarcastic sense of humor, his unforgettable “dad jokes,” and the joy he brought to every room he entered. He loved “tinkering” in his shed, woodworking, and working in his yard. A true sports fan, he enjoyed watching golf and Indiana Fever basketball, but nothing compared to his passion for Indianapolis Colts football. Tommy was an especially devoted fan of Peyton Manning, and he never missed a chance to cheer on his Colts. Above all, his favorite moments were those spent with Susie and their two cats, Baxter and Bentley.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park North, 2706 Kessler Boulevard West Dr., Indianapolis, IN 46228. In honor of Tommy’s love for the Indianapolis Colts, attendees are invited to wear Colts attire or dress in Colts colors.

Tommy’s humor, warmth, and love for his family will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
