Thomas J. Goebel, a cherished resident of Deer Park for many years and aged 83, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Margie Goebel and a devoted father to Ron (Carol) Goebel and the late Michael Goebel. He was a proud grandfather to Raegan and Michael. He is also survived by his siblings, Joan Stevens and Ron (Ellen) Goebel. He was born September 30, 1940, to the late Arnold and Berna Goebel.
Tom was an esteemed alumnus of Deer Park High School and served his country with honor as a U.S. Army Veteran. His life was marked by dedication to his family and service to his country. He was blessed with a talent in taxidermy. Hunting and fishing were a fond pastime of his but through his genuine actions spending time with his family was his favorite of all.
Visitation will commence from 11:00 am, leading up to the funeral service at 12:00 Noon. The service will be held at Staley – Strawser Funeral Home, located at 7140 Plainfield Rd, Deer Park, OH 45236, on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. Final resting will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery.

We are so sorry to hear of Uncle Tommy's passing. Wishing our best to Margie, Ron, Carol, and the grandkids. Unfortunately, Susan, Kathy, and I are unable to attend the services because of work obligations and our mother no longer drives. But rest assured that you are in our prayers and we are there with you in spirit.
