Born on February 2, 1953, in Pittsburgh, Tom was the cherished son of the late Thomas Gorman Jr. and Dorothy (Stefher) Gorman. A devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, Tom is survived by his wife Astrid (Kuuskler) Gorman, his three children Thomas (Kelly) Gorman IV, Colleen Gorman, and Nicole Gorman and his two grandchildren, Adelaide and Teagan, who brought immense joy into his life.
Tom graduated from Duquesne University, launching him into a successful career. His integrity and drive led him to flourish at Mellon Bank and later as President of MortgageServ at Fiserv. Tom was well-respected and loved by all who worked with him. Tom cherished spending time with his family and friends enjoying the great outdoors while golfing, kayaking, camping, fishing, and hunting. His passion for Pittsburgh Penguins hockey was unsurpassed and often a topic of discussion in the Gorman home. PapPap will be remembered for the precious moments spent playing with his grandkids, leaving behind a legacy filled with wonderful memories. Tom's presence will be profoundly missed but his adventurous spirit will continue to inspire those who knew him.
