Thomas Darrell Greenway, a cherished soul and a pillar of strength, left this world for his heavenly home on August 18, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on March 14, 1936, in Sweetwater, Texas, Thomas lived a life marked by love, dedication, and faith. He passed away peacefully in Andrews, Texas, surrounded by the love of his family.

After graduating from Rotan High School in 1954, Thomas married Milbra Lillian Carlton, on June 3, 1955. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love, having recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. Together, they built a life filled with joy, laughter, and unwavering partnership.

Thomas was a dedicated worker, spending thirty-two years as a welder with El Paso Natural Gas. His commitment to his craft was evident in the quality of his work and the respect he earned from his colleagues. Beyond his professional life, Thomas was a devoted Christian and a long-standing member of Calvary Baptist Church of Andrews, where he served and worshipped with a humble heart and most recently moved over to Grace Baptist Church.

Family was the cornerstone of Thomas' life. He leaves behind his loving wife, Milbra, his sons, Keith Greenway and his wife Rene of Andrews, Texas, and Kent Greenway of Temple, Texas. His brother, Gene Greenway, and wife June of Abilene, Texas, also survive him. Thomas' legacy continues through his grandchildren, Josh Greenway and wife Kristi, Kyle Greenway and wife Megan, Tyler McCoy and husband Troy, Lindey Kerley and husband Aaron, Chance Greenway, Colton Greenway, and Karley Greenway, as well as his nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members who will forever hold him in their hearts.

An ardent lover of the outdoors, Thomas was a farmer at heart. He passed on his knowledge of animal husbandry and land stewardship to his sons, ensuring that his passion for the earth would endure for generations. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, barbequing, horseback riding, and playing chess. Thomas also found joy in accomplishing the tasks on his wife's "honey do" list, which he approached with the same love and dedication he gave to all aspects of his life.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Andrews North Cemetery at eleven o'clock in the morning with Pastor Jeff Chapman and Brother Glenn Jones officiating. A viewing will be held at McNett Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from eleven until four o'clock in the afternoon.
