Thomas Joseph Haggerty Sr., 84, husband of Margaret "Peg" (Skay) Haggerty of Phoenixville, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 15, 2025.
He was born on March 18, 1941, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late James Paul and Agnes Haggerty.
Thomas worked for PECO for 26 years and was a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan (GO BIRDS!).He enjoyed spending time doing yard work but loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Peggy Loughery (Rich), sons, Thomas J. Haggerty, Jr., and William J. Haggerty (Connie), Grandchildren, Richard T. Loughery, James S. Haggerty (Alexa), Kristyn Rousseau (Brian), Laura Haggerty (Mike) & Meghan Oakes (Mitch). Great-Grandchildren, Reagan Rousseau, Ava Haggerty, Ella Haggerty, Landon Schmidt, Naomi Schmidt & Chase Oakes. Brother, Michael F. Haggerty. Brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Jerry & Sally Kennedy. Daughter-in-law, Candy Fierro.
He is preceded in death by his great-grandson Jack Thomas Rousseau and brother, James P. Haggerty, Jr.
A funeral mass will be held Saturday, September 20 at 11am at St. Basil the Great Catholic Church 2330 Kimberton Rd, Phoenixville, PA 19460. Internment will immediately follow at St. Ann Cemetery in Phoenixville, PA.
A viewing will be held at the church from 9:45 to 10:45 am.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in the name of Jack Thomas Rousseau (Team Jack) at www.chop.edu.
