Kathleen A. Summers (McGarity), 67, of Phoenixville passed away peacefully on September 6, 2025 in the hospital, with her two sons. Born in 1958, Kathy was the beloved daughter of the late Daniel and Jane (Russell) McGarity. Her proudest achievement was her family, with her two sons Jared (Rachael) and Jacob (Anna), and her four grandchildren Owen, Aaron, Emilia, and Helen. She loved being Nanny K. She was also dear sister of Jane McDivitt, Beth Hargadon (James), Daniel McGarity (Cheryl), the late Suzann Donnelly (Michael), and the late Margaret Swanson (Chris); aunt of Michael (Joy), Rob (Miriam), B.J., Tom, David (Heather), Ryan, Katie (Josh), Dan, Matt, Ashly, Christopher, Mark (Elisa), Patrick, Hayley (John), and Eric. Kathy had a passion for helping others. She was very active in her church and her community, and spent most of her time to make the lives of others better. She worked for the US Postal Service for many years and cherished the relationships she made with her co-workers and customers. She enjoyed spending time at the shore with her family and being a fan of the Phillies and Eagles. She was passionate about music. She traveled the world in her later years, with some of her dearest friends. She visited Spain, Germany, India, and Cambodia. She was a larger than life personality and will be missed by many. Relatives and friends are invited to her Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 20th, 2025 at the Exton United Methodist Church, 181 Sharp Lane, Exton, PA 19341. Visitation will start at 11:00 AM, followed by a service at 12:00 PM and lunch and refreshments after. Arrangements are being handled by the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Phoenixville, PA. Condolences may be offered by visiting www.PhoenixvilleFuneralHome.com.
