Thomas Patrick Healey, a beloved father, son, uncle, and brother, passed away on August 18, 2025, at the age of 59. Tom was born on February 28, 1966. He was known for his unwavering kindness, infectious humor, and willingness to help anyone in need. He dedicated himself to his community, particularly through coaching little leagues and city sports when Robin was younger. An avid sports enthusiast, he enjoyed poker and bowling throughout his life and was a devoted fan of the Rams and Chiefs, as well as a lover of the Olympics and various sports, including softball, volleyball, and basketball.
Tom proudly served his country in the United States Navy for nine years, where he spent most of his time aboard the U.S.S. Kirk. His time in the Navy, which included treasured memories from his ports in Japan and Adak, Alaska, was a source of great pride for him. He, as he quoted, "Loved his job and loved his ship." (U.S.S. Kirk) He was extremely proud of his service.
Tom is survived by his daughter, Robin Healey; his mother, Karen Ames; his sister, Kelly Healey; and his nieces, Kaylene Davidson, Kimberly Clemmer, Sharley Ragsdale & Kinley Butts Nephews: Colton Ragsdale and Trenton Green and their families.
He is preceded in death by his father, Timothy Healey.
A celebration of life will be held on August 29, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, providing family and friends an opportunity to reflect on the profound impact Tom had on their lives. Following the celebration, Tom will be laid to rest at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield at 1:00 PM.
Tom Healey will be remembered for his love, laughter, and the unwavering support he gave to all who knew him. His legacy will continue to inspire and uplift those he leaves behind.
