Words just can´t describe what Papa means to me, this entire family means the world to me.
Just let me say this, if it weren´t for Papa J I truly feel I would be dead or in prison. This man not only taught me how to be a good man but also made me feel the love of a father like I´ve never known. I was on a path of the "tough guy" to prove I was a man.
Papa J made me realize that loving people is the true mark of what a real man should be! He taught me more than he could ever realize, and not with words, he taught me with his actions. I simply watched him love his family and everyone lucky enough to be in his life.
It´s been said by me and so many others that the Jenkins family has so many friends, well I´ve come to realize we´re all wrong! This family doesn´t have any friends, simply because once you are their friend, they take you in as Family!! The love I´ve felt for my 43 years as part of this family is immeasurable! Starting with Mama and Papa, to Tania & Mario, Jack & Julie and Frank & Robin and last but not least Tommy & Anthony, Joey & Brendan, and Frankie and Baby Cat!
If you´re still here through this long tribute, I want to thank all of you friends that have become family like me, for all the love I´ve received from you all!!
FINALLY it´s my turn to say to my Jenkins Family "I LOVE YOUUUUU ALL MORE!!!"

On behalf of the Capuchin friars, I offer condolences to the family and friends of Thomas Jenkins. I pray that Thomas rest in peace, and that God's healing mercy may console all those who grieve his death. The friars are deeply humbled by memorial donations made in his memory to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen.
