Thomas Moreno Jones, 85 of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024, in Ocean Springs, MS.
He was born November 22, 1938, in Biloxi, MS, to John Calvin Jones and Winnie Louise Jones. Moreno was a graduate of Biloxi High School and the University of Southern Mississippi. He worked at Ocean Springs State Bank, Hancock Whitney Bank and was on the Board of Trustees for MGCCC. Moreno served on the Mississippi National Guard and enjoyed golf and spending time with family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, John “Buddy” Jones and sister, Emma Poirier.
Moreno is survived by his beloved wife, Sue Windham Jones; children, Susan Jones, David Jones (Jenine), Kevin Jones (Ann); grandchildren: Elizabeth Lizana (Joseph), Patrick Jones (Amanda), Gabe Jones(Rachael), Hope Estes (Conner), Zach Jones, Lauren Rodgers (David), Jonathan Sutera (Maddy), Tyler Kostal (Ryan), Megan Jones, Anthony Wisdom; great grandchildren: Logan Lizana, Silas Lizana, Amelie Jones, Alyse Jones, Eli Jones, Drew Rodgers, Thomas Rodgers, Riley Sutera, Harper Sutera, Elinor Kostal and Winsor Kostal.
Funeral service will be Monday, January 8, 2024, 11:00AM at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 911 Porter Ave, Ocean Springs, MS, with visitation starting at 10:00AM. Internment will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park, Ocean Springs, MS.
