Thomas “Tommy” Knotts was born in Readhimer, LA on April 20, 1966. He passed away peacefully in his home in Shreveport, LA on January 6, 2024.
Tommy never met a stranger. He loved life and everything in it, especially his granddaughter Willow. He never sat still long, always on the go. He enjoyed watching wrestling, going to the track to watch the race cars, fishing, hunting, camping, and just a simple bonfire with family and friends. He always surrounded himself with the people he loved! To say Tommy will be missed is an understatement. He touched the lives and hearts of so many people.
Tommy was a lighting technician in the music industry for over 30 years. Since retiring from being on the road all the time and away from friends and family, he worked part-time with his brother Miron at Bayou Watch.
He is preceded in death by his father, Orie Knotts; mother, Christine Tyler Knotts; step-father, Troy Driggers; brother, Rodney; brother, Randal; brother, Carl Lee (Moose); brother, Mark (Tater); sister, Lisa; and brother, William.
Left to cherish his memory is his son Louis and daughter-in-law, Melanie; grand-daughter, Willow, step-daughter, Crystal; kids, Karma and Grayson; brother, Maxie and wife Mickey; brother Larry and wife Connie; brother, Miron and wife Glenda; brother, Rickey; sister, Wanda and husband Bruce; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, uncles, and aunts. A special thanks to Billy and Susan Riggs for opening their hearts and home to Tommy and being his second family!
