Thomas Lach Obituary

Born November 29, 1971, in Detroit, MI, he was the son of James Reid Lach and Laura (Wesserling) Lach. Thomas graduated from Anchor Bay High School in 1989 and went on to receive a degree in Automotive Technology and Business Management from the University of Northwestern Ohio.
Early on in life, Tom s passions were building and racing cars, he would restore classic cars and display them at car shows. Tom met the love of his life (Jenny) shortly after his college years, they married and started their family, blessed with two sons. Tom was actively involved coaching his son s sports teams; the family really enjoyed traveling the country with their baseball family.
Tom always tended to his family and friends. He was often sought out to help solve problems, difficult tasks and offer helpful advice when needed. He was known for his good sense of humor, contagious laughter, and crazy antics. Tom was notorious for his long-winded outrageous stories and kept everyone engaged!
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Preceded by Victoria Hansen, mother-in-law and Michael Spavale, brother-in-law.
Survived by his parents James and Laura Lach, his wife Jennifer and sons, Evan and Nathan, sister Amy (Lach) Merlo and brother-in-law Paul and their son Carter, sister Susan (Lach) Spavale.
Father-in-law Christopher, mother-in-law Bonnie Zynda, brother-in-law Christopher Zynda, his wife Karen, their daughter Emily and son Aidan, sister-in-law Jessica (Zynda) Pravettone and her sons, Jacob and Joshua.
Visitation for Tom will be on Sunday, August 21st from 2pm 8pm and 10 am - 11 am on Monday, August 22nd at the Wasik Funeral Home - Gendernalik Chapel, located at 35259 - 23 Mile Road in New Baltimore.
Funeral Service at 11 am on Monday, August 22nd in the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Lach Family.

I delivered work uniforms to tom and the guys at warren auto for years. I was shocked to hear about his passing, he loved his family and was always funny and helpful. He also did alot of work on mine and my wife´s car, rip in peace Tom.
