Thomas F. Lipsett Jr., 79, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully at home on June 13th surrounded by love. He was the beloved husband of Marcia "Sue" (Lapworth) Lipsett and the loving father of Matthew Lipsett and Thomas Chiusano. He was the loving "Pop's" to his granddaughter Sophia Chiusano.
Tom was born in Camden, New Jersey on September 21, 1944 to the late Thomas and Sarah (Vance) Lipsett. He was raised in Bellmawr, New Jersey and graduated from Triton Regional High School in 1962. Living near Philadelphia he appeared on American Bandstand numerous times.
Tom joined the U.S.M.C. on July 11, 1966 at the age of 22. He honorably served his country including two tours in Vietnam. He was very proud of his time in the Marine Corps.
He was a longtime member of the Plymouth V.F.W. and for many years he enjoyed being part of their honor guard and marching in parades. He and Sue had met many wonderful people through the V.F.W and consider many of them as our V.F.W. family,
A special thank you to Skip Martin and Jamie Hamblin for recently organizing a fund raiser for our family. It was truly a magical day for Tom.
