Thomas Melchionne

Thomas P. Melchionne Sr., age 70, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2025, in the comfort of his home. Born and raised in Brockton, he was the son of the late John and Elizabeth Melchionne. A proud graduate of Brockton High School, Class of 1972, Tom went on to serve his country with honor in the United States Air Force, dedicating eight years of service, including two years stationed in Vietnam.
Following his military career, Tom built a successful career at Bose Corporation. He was known for his love of music-especially playing the guitar-and his remarkable skills with computers. Tom also had a passion for cooking and cherished quiet moments spent with his girlfriend, Marjorie Toti.
Tom is survived by his children: Tracie L. Dumont of Hudson, NH; Christie M. Melchionne of Bridgewater; Jamie A. Walbridge of Taunton; and Thomas P. Melchionne Jr. of Abington. He was the grandfather of 12 and leaves behind many relatives and friends.
In keeping with Tom's wishes, all services will be held privately.
