Thomas Norwood Miller, 95, beloved father and grandfather, formerly of Granbury, Texas, passed away early on Thursday, March 5, 2026, in Abilene.

A graveside committal service will be at 1:15 P.M., on Friday, April 17, 2026, at the DFW National Cemetery in Dallas.

Thomas was born on December 2, 1930, in Savannah, Georgia to the late Hazeline and Purse Miller. Thomas proudly served his country in the US Army. On June 21,1958, Thomas married JoAnn Kneece and together had four children, David, Charlie, Pam, and William. He worked as a Petroleum Engineer for 44 years starting with Skelly Oil and retiring from Chevron. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pampa, Texas. Thomas was a private pilot. Most of all, Thomas will be remembered for the devotion he had for his beloved family.

Thomas survived by his children, David Miller, Charlie and wife Jeanette Miller, Pam Engel, and William and wife Valerie Miller; grandchildren, Evan Miller and wife Caitlin, Heath Miller and wife Kara, Danny Engle and wife Elizebeth, Andrew Engle and wife Emily, Julia Engle, Caleb Engle and fiancée Britta, Mary, Noel, and Tommy Engle, William J. Miller, and Trinity Elizabeth Miller; and by his eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by

his wife, JoAnn.
