Thomas Moench, age 82, of Oconto Falls, WI, passed away peacefully, Friday, April 18, 2025 at Meadowbrook of Oconto Falls. He was born October 10, 1942 in Milwaukee, WI, son of the late William and Florence Moench and was a graduate of Nicolet High School.
After high school, Tom enlisted in the Army National Guard and proudly served his county until his honorable discharge. Tom was employed by OMC as a machinist for his entire 50 year career. He married Jenee Rupp and they celebrated over 40 years of marriage before she passed away in 2022.
Tom was an avid outdoorsman and loved to fish and hunt. Tom and Jenee moved to Missouri where they spent their retirement years together. While in Missouri, they enjoyed helping with fundraisers at the Buttermilk Community Center. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his faithful canine companions: Kiri, Princess and Emma.
Thomas is survived by his daughter, Renee Kent and her children: Brandon, Rebecca, Lindsey and Morgan Kent; daughter, Christine Wetor and her children: Jonathan, Cassandra and Jessica and step-sons: Randy (Dawn) Ziarek and their daughter, Kenzie, Brian Ziarek and his children, Zachary and Delany and Brent Ziarek and his daughter, Ariel.
Visitation will be held at Newcomer Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, WI), Monday, April 28, 2025 from 10 to 11 AM. A memorial service will follow at 11 AM with full military honors.
Tom's family would like to thank Meadowbrook for their loving care and compassion.
