Thomas Roger Morrison

Thomas Roger Morrison, known affectionately as Tom to his family and friends, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026, at the age of 76. Born on January 18, 1950, Tom's life was marked by his unwavering spirit, his loving nature, and his remarkable sense of humor.

Tom was the father of James (married to Yuliya) and Kelly (married to Andrew), siblings: Bill (Pam) Morrison, Wayne Morrison, Jim Morrison, and a loving and proud grandfather to Kaleb and Kaylee. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Joan, who instilled in him the values of kindness and resilience that he carried throughout his life. He was also preceded in death by his siblings: Charlie, Mary, and Reggie.

An ingenious inventor, Tom spent countless hours in his workshop, transforming his visions into reality. His family often marveled at his ability to solve problems with a unique blend of ingenuity and practicality.

Tom's talents extended beyond his inventions. He was an extraordinarily animated storyteller, captivating audience with his tales that were both humorous and heartwarming. His stories were a blend of life experiences and vivid imagination, often leaving listeners in both laughter and awe.

A lifelong fan of musician John Prine, Tom's love for music was profound. He found solace and joy in Prine's lyrics, which resonated with his own philosophy of life. His appreciation for music was infectious, and he was known to share his favorite musician with anyone who would listen.

Those who knew Tom would describe him as loving, funny, and spirited. His presence was a source of joy and comfort, and his ability to light up a room was unmatched. Tom's legacy is one of love and laughter, and the impact he made on those around him will be cherished forever. The family would like to thank Castle AFC and its residents for being Tom's second family while he stayed there.

Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Tom's Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Jansen Family Funeral Home – Columbiaville.
