Thomas Mortimore Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Grace Memorial - Bower Rose Funeral Home - Marine City on Jan. 29, 2023.
Thomas James Mortimore
77, of Marine City, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 27, 2023, at home surrounded by his family.
He was born in Pontiac, Michigan on May 26, 1945, the son of the late Keith and Marianne (Kircher) Mortimore.
Thomas was a faithful Christian, attending the Rock Church and serving in leadership and usher roles. He was an avid golfer, loved his time on the golf course, and even had a hole-in-one. Thomas enjoyed bowling and watching football, especially watching Patrick Mahomes play. He loved his animals, enjoyed making the best hash browns, and even in his sixties could still do backflips off the diving board. Thomas worked for General Motors as a supervisor for 50-1/2 years. He was an amazing leader to the employees that he worked with.
He is survived by his loving wife, Teri of 22 years; children, Jeannie Mortimore of Pontiac, Debbie (Joe) Williams of Flushing, Angie Mortimore of Lapeer, and Kayti Mortimore of Lapeer; grandchildren, Lilah, Carmen, Landon, and Scarlette; siblings, Jim (Susan) Mortimore, Kathy Bertram, Barb (Gene) Ferber; step-children, Ryan Reuter of Marine City, Paige (Dan) Tewkesbury of Marine City, and Jordan Reuter of Waterford; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Grace Memorial-Bower Rose Funeral Home of Marine City. His daughters will be celebrating his life together this summer at Bello Woods Golf Course.
Memorials are suggested to God's Corner.
