Thomas F. O’Rourke Jr., 66, a lifelong resident of Manchester, New Hampshire, a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War, state legislator for the New Hampshire House of Representatives from 1965-1966 and from 1997-1998, died at his residence on Wednesday, August 30, 2000. Calling hours are scheduled for Friday, September 1, 2000, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., at McHugh Funeral Home, 483 Beech Street, at the corner of Hanover Street, Manchester. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, September 2, 9:15 a.m., from the funeral home to St. Joseph Cathedral, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Services will be officiated by Reverend Thomas J. Bresnahan. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford, New Hampshire. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manchester Fire Fighters Relief Association, 100 Merrimack Street, Manchester, NH 03104.

Joanne- Just read of Tom's death in the UL and wanted to tell you how sorry I am. Tom was a wonderful guy, and I was proud to call him a friend. Sorry to have missed the wake and funeral service- Will try to call you soon.
