Thomas Perras Obituary

Born in Albany he was son of the late Armand E. and Jean Wisenberger Perras. He was a 1975 graduate of Voorheesville High School and earned an Associate's Degree from Hudson Valley Community College.
Tom was employed for over 30 years at Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory in Niskayuna and retired in 2015. He was a member of the Maplewood Conservation Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and all other outdoor activities. He also was an avid NY Mets fan.
Tom was the husband of the late Margaret Walsh Perras who died on September 12, 2024. He is survived by his devoted children, Nadine M. Perras, Zachary Perras (Rebecca Rush) of Melrose and Noah Perras (Jadalea) of Bennington, VT. He is the brother of Barbara Ewart (Howard) of Amherst, MA, Armand Perras of Felton, DE, Richard J. Perras (Michele) of Altamont, Christopher Perras (Kathy) of Amsterdam and Jeannine Matuzek of Slingerlands. He is the proud grandfather of Wyatt Perras, Caleb Maloney and Brynnleigh Mae Perras. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
