Thomas Piche Obituary

St. Louis Park, MN - Thomas Harold Piche', age 76, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2025, at the Veterans Home in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Tom was born on September 21, 1948, in St. Peter, MN and raised in Waseca, MN, where he attended Sacred Heart for both grade school and high school. He later pursued higher education at Mankato Commercial College, where he studied accounting-a profession that reflected his natural dedication to helping others.

From 1968 to 1972, Tom proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. His time in the military shaped his lifelong commitment to service, which he carried into every chapter of his life.

Tom and his wife, Cindy, were proud small business owners and co-owned 4-Seasons Athletics, a sporting goods store in Waseca, MN. The store was a reflection of their love for community, sports, and supporting young athletes and families in the area.

Tom was deeply devoted to his family, faith, and community. Whether volunteering as treasurer on various community boards, singing joyfully in the church choir at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, or lending his time at Sholom West Nursing Home. Tom gave of himself generously and humbly. A 4th Degree Knight of Columbus, he exemplified the values of faith, charity, and service.

He was known for his warm heart and unforgettable sense of humor. Tom had a unique ability to make others laugh and feel welcome, and his presence brought comfort and joy to those around him. He loved supporting his children through their sports and band activities, being a long time baseball and softball coach. In recent years, he found tremendous happiness in cheering on his six grandchildren in all their endeavors.

Tom was an excellent bowler and softball player, which provided him the opportunity to connect with others and fuel his competitive spirit!

Tom was also a lifelong fan of the Minnesota Twins and rarely missed a game, faithfully following the team through wins and losses with unwavering loyalty.

He is preceded in death by his parents, David and Leona Piche', and his brother, Paul Piche'. He is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Piche'; his son Chris Piche' and daughter-in-law Leah; his daughters Angie Fondow and her husband Shawn, and Kim Radel and her husband Jeff. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren: Raegan, Madison, Chase, Ryley, Brooklyn, and Lincoln.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Minnetonka, MN. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., with the service at 11:00 a.m., followed by a luncheon. He will be buried at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Tom's legacy of kindness, humor, faith, and service will live on in all who had the privilege of knowing him.
