Thomas E. Pimentel

Thomas E. Pimentel, 72, of Hope Furnace Road, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Manuel and Josephine (Rita) Pimentel.
He was a long-time and dedicated employee of Arkwright in Fiskeville, RI. Following his retirement, he enjoyed golfing, gardening, and watching the wildlife surrounding his home. He was a loving, active, and dedicated father, who wanted nothing but the absolute best for his children. Tom was a kind-hearted person who left a lasting impression on his friends and family. Aside from being referred to as "a great guy" and "the life of the party" by all who knew him, he was especially known for having a heart of gold. He was always willing to go out of his way to help anyone he knew. Tom was never one to ask; rather, he was one to give. His infectious smile and goodwill towards others will forever be remembered by those who knew and loved him. He affectionately came to be known as Vuvu to his grandchildren, who he cherished very much. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Tom is survived by his children, Justin Pimentel and his wife Tyla of Coventry, and Sarah Hoch and her husband Timothy of Coventry, and two grandchildren, Hailey and Asher Pimentel. He was a brother of the late Richard and Dennis Pimentel.
Visitation will be held on Thursday morning, April 27, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick, RI with a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich.
