Thomas D. Reichling

Thomas David Reichling, age 65 of Darlington, WI, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025 surrounded by family. He was born January 17, 1960 in Darlington, the son of David and Donna (Nevels) Reichling. Tom graduated from Darlington High School in 1978. He was united in marriage to Kristine Murray in 1979 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He grew up and lived in Lafayette County his entire life. Tom devoted his life to farming alongside his dad and brothers, finding great fulfillment in working the land. He took immense pride in the harvest each fall, a testament to his hard work and dedication to the family legacy.
Tom is survived by his wife, Kris; his daughter, Jenna (Reid) Gill; a son-in-law, Adam Droessler; four grand-children, Reese & Blythe Gill and Tavin Brunkow & Dax Droessler; two sisters, Sherry (Dennis) Crist and Sheila (Robert) Williams; three brothers, Joseph (Gina) Reichling, Patrick (Diane) Reichling, and Edward (Tammy) Reichling; four brother-in-laws, Randy (Kathy) Murray, Rick (Karen) Murray, Kevin (Peggy) Murray, and Mark (Martine) Murray; and many special nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Erica Droessler; his parents, David & Donna Reichling; a step-mother, Joann Reichling; his sister and brother-in-law, Theresa & Lane Thompson; a sister-in-law, Jennifer Reichling; a brother-in-law, Tim Murray; a nephew, Myles Reichling; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Francis (Buzz) & Mary Lou Murray.
When Tom wasn't at the farm, you could often find him on the golf course, boating with his family, hunting with his nephews and grandkids, riding his snowmobile or UTV, or watching football. A passionate storyteller, he was never short on opinions-especially when it came to politics or reminiscing about his high school sports days. He had a gift for conversation and truly loved being surrounded by family and friends. Tom will be sadly missed and fondly remembered.
To honor Tom's wishes, a private family service will be held. The family welcomes you to celebrate Tom's life by remembering your favorite moments with him. Burial will be held at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Darlington at a later date. The Erickson Funeral Home in Darlington is serving the family.
