Thomas Michael Reinmiller, 63 of Joshua, went peacefully to be with the Lord on July 31, 2022 with his loving wife of 34 years and five children by his side with extended family supporting them all.
Tom was born to Vivian Marie (Vavra) and Ronald Thomas Reinmiller on August 18, 1958 in San Angelo, Texas. He graduated from Trinity Highschool in Euless and went on to obtain his Bachelors degree in computer information systems from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Tom met the love of his life, Sarah (Holt) at the Chisholm Park swimming pool in Hurst, Texas where they worked together as lifeguards. They married on March 5, 1988 at North Richland Hills Baptist church. Together they raised five children. Tom was a wonderful and attentive Dad. He taught all five of his children how to change the oil in a car and helped them do so each time they wanted, even if they did not need the assistance. He later became a doting Grandaddy to his two grandchildren.
Tom was a gentle and quiet soul with an active spirit. He enjoyed scuba diving, racing dirt bikes in his youth, riding motorcycles with his wife before they had kids, and working on cars. He also enjoyed gardening when the Texas weather allowed. He loved teaching his kids how to use technology and spent hours playing computer games with them when they were younger. He had great taste in movies, music, and comic books, and loved traveling to find unique foods – especially Mexican food. He will be remembered most for his kind heart. Tom did not like change and would thoroughly research decisions and choices so that Sarah could always count on him to give her all the information. He also enjoyed searching out all that could be learned on his children's hobbies, careers, and interests through the years.
In the summer of 1983, Tom made the most important decision of his life and that was to accept Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. He took that decision very seriously, making dramatic changes in how he began to live life. He continued to follow Christ throughout his life as best he could, even when the circumstances of the last several years made life hard. His resolve to face the challenges in his personal life, his marriage and in parenting his children were clearly seen by his constant effort to try and please his family by making sure he got anniversary, birthday and Christmas gifts, attending birthday dinners, graduations, weddings and other special events and by trying to listen and talk to each one.
Tom was a member of Shady Grove Church for over 15 years and later a member of Fairpark Baptist church for 18 years.
Tom is preceded in death by his brother John Eric Reinmiller.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Sarah Reinmiller; children, Hannah Reinmiller, Samuel Reinmiller and wife, Katelin, Joseph Reinmiller and wife, Rebecca, John Reinmiller and fiancée Janan, and David Reinmiller; grandsons, Titus Reinmiller and Anson Reinmiller; loving parents, Vivian and Ron Reinmiller; nieces, Megan Cameron and Rachel Reinmiller, and numerous cousins, extended family members and friends.
Tom is gone too soon from this earth, resting in peace now with the Lord. He will be dearly missed until that glorious day when we are all called home. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16
