Thomas A. Rosdail

Thomas A. Rosdail, 84, of Amana, Iowa, died Sunday, May 5, 2024. A visitation will be held from 10 - 11 a.m. on Monday, May 13, 2024, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 805 Business Highway 151 W, Walford, Iowa. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial with full Military Honors will take place at Norway Cemetery in Norway, Iowa. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is assisting the family. Thomas was born November 13, 1939, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Glenn T. and Elsie (DeVries) Rosdail. He graduated from Walford Consolidated High School and went on to graduate from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa in 1957. Thomas served in the United States Army from 1962-64. He devoted his life to farming, taking great pride in caring for the land. He worked at Amana Refrigeration. Thomas was a member of Norway American Legion Post #234 and the Norway Cemetery Association. Thomas is survived by his brother, Daniel L. Rosdail of Amana.
