Thomas J. Ryan

Thomas J. Ryan, 80, of Nutley, NJ, passed away Friday, January 9, 2026. Born in Newark, NJ, Thomas was the son of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Ryan. He received an associate degree from St. Peter's College. Thomas retired as a computer programmer from Okonite, Ramsey, NJ. Thomas is survived by his wife, Andrea Ryan, son, Thomas Ryan, brother, John (Jack) Ryan, and his furry companion, Katie. He was predeceased by his brother, James Ryan. He is also survived by many close family members and friends.
The funeral will be Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 9:30AM from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30AM at St. Mary's Church, 17 Monsignor Owens Pl, Nutley. The interment will follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 13th from 4:00PM – 7:00PM.
