Thomas James "Tommy" Schleicher

Thomas James Schleicher, of Lake Orion, passed away at Beaumont Hospital on March 1, 2023 due to injuries sustained in a hit and run car accident. He was 31. His final act of organ donation was indicative of the generous spirit in which he lived his life. Tom's loving wife, young son, parents, sister, as well as members of extended family, and dozens of childhood friends were by his side during his final days.
Tom was born in Rochester on January 13, 1992. He attended Stoney Creek High School before going on to graduate from Grand Valley State University in 2014. After college, Tom worked at Enterprise, where he met his wife, Stephanie (Sinks) Schleicher. The two were married on September 30, 2017. He considered himself lucky to have found his soulmate and true equal. They welcomed their son on March 28, 2022.
Tom was known to all to be a selfless and warmhearted friend with a laugh that filled a room. He was passionate about golf, baseball, enthusiastically dancing at weddings, and cars, though nothing brought him more joy than being a devoted husband and father.
He is survived by his wife Stephanie, his son, Jackson, his sister, Rachael (Kenny) Fuller, his mother Gretchen and his father James.
