Thomas Schray Obituary
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Robert and Althea (Nattress) Schray. Tom was a 1961 graduate of Dieruff High School and served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy. He worked for his father at Schray's Quality Meats in Catasauqua and was a Building Inspector for the City of Allentown for many years. Tom also enjoyed his time Calf Roping at Rodeos. He was an avid hunter and liked to golf. In his younger years, Tom was an active coach for the Mountainville Youth Association and the Allentown Patriots.
Survivors: His loving wife, Kathy; daughter, Lindsey B. Ronco and her husband Joe of Allentown; son, John R. Schray and his fiancé Candace Walker of Allentown; brother, Edward Schray and his wife Sally; 2 grandchildren, Lucia and Jackson. Tom was preceded in death by infant children Chad Peter Schray and Megan Louise Schray.
Services: A memorial service will be held at 1 PM on Friday, February 3, 2023 in the K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, Inc., 46 E. Susquehanna Street, Allentown. A visitation for relatives and friends will be held from 12 Noon until the time of the service.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, may be made to the Lehigh County Humane Society, 640 Dixon Street, Allentown, PA 18103.
