Thomas Bruce Shell

Tom Shell age 74 of Afton passed very peacefully at his home. He was a graduate of Chuckey-Doak High School class of 1969 and also a graduate of ETSU class of 1973. He was a farmer, golfer, hunter, and loved the Tennessee Vols. Tom is survived by his 2 sisters Brenda Jones of Wake Forest, NC and Debra (Earle) Smith of North Augusta, SC, 2 nephews Jabies (Tim) Collins of Johnson City, TN and Ross (Kristen) Smith of North Augusta, SC, niece Mallory Smith Barber of Charleston, SC, great nephew Grant Smith of North Augusta, SC, great niece Harper Smith of North Augusta, SC, several cousins, special friends and caregivers Eddie Parkins, Spencer Smith, Lynn Scott, Chuck Milligan, Chris Gray, Judy Willett, and Amy Harrison. He was preceded in death by his daughter Tonya Robin Shell, his parents J.T. and Keasle (Honey) Shell, his grandparents John Thomas and Leota Shell and Bruce Sluder. A memorial service will be held at a later date, with the inurnment in Fairview CP Cemetery.
