Thomas J. Sing, 76, of Erie, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully Sunday, May 4th, 2025, at his residence.

He was born May 18, 1948, in South Charleston, WV, a son to the late Mao and Dolly G. “Jeane” (Potter) Sing.

Tom grew up in New Martinsville, WV. He spent many years working with Zurn Industries, in Erie, PA, until his retirement. Thomas found joy in his passion for music, performing, specializing in the sounds of the oldies and polka. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle every chance he could get. He married Catherine Denise (Harpst) Sing in Erie, PA, never forgetting his love for her through his final days. He was a dedicated father and the best dad Brandon could imagine having, especially after Cathy’s passing in 1999; it was just him and Brandon from then on.

Tom is survived by his son, Brandon Sing, and his wife Carly; grandchildren, Audrey and Hudson Sing; siblings, Michael Sing, James “Jim” Sing; Cheri Johnson, and Betty Stewart. He is further survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may call at Burton Quinn-Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., West Ridge, 3801 W. 26th St., Erie, on Thursday, May 8th from 3 until 7 PM. And are invited to attend a service there on Friday, May 9th at 11 AM. Burial to follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
