Thomas (Tom) Richard Stokes, Jr., 74, of Mission Viejo, CA, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Saddleback Hospital in Laguna Hills, CA after a brief illness. Tom was born on May 2, 1942 in Beaufort, SC to Helen F. Raney and Lt. Col. Thomas Richard Stokes. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Stokes, his children Thomas R. Stokes III (Cindy) of Minden, NV, and Christina Kennedy (Mike) of Lake Forest, CA, and three grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Edward Raney Stokes of San Diego, CA. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 11am at Saddleback Church, in Lake Forest, CA. Share A Memory Please join us in remembering Tom.
