Louisville Memorial Gardens West Cemetery and Funeral HomeThomas (Tom) Elden Story was born in Louisville, Kentucky, on December 09, 1951, and was quickly nicknamed “Hum Bug” by Grandpa Gray.
Tom has been preceded in death by his parents, Joseph William and Thelma Gray Story; his brothers, Joseph (Bill) Story, Jr. and Charles (Bob) Story Sr.; and his wife, Linda Hicks Story.
Surviving family is sister, Linda Gray Story, of Houston, Texas; nephew, Charles (Chuck) Story, Jr.; Nieces, Kelly A Gamlin (Matt) and Robbin M. Jones (David); three great nephews, and four great nieces; and aunts, Ann Story Taylor and Betty Gibson Gray.
Tom was an alumnus of Western Kentucky University and Sigma Chi Fraternity. He enjoyed international travel and lived in Greece and many U.S. States. Tom loved life in the great outdoors, camping, fishing and fireside chats.
He will be missed by his loving family and his many lifelong friends that he valued deeply. May God bless and hold Tom gently in the psalm of His hand for all eternity.
