Thomas J. Tedesco, 49, husband of Lisa R. Waring, of Rockport, died suddenly on Wednesday evening at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Tom was born in Waterbury, CT. on July 14, 1961, son of Angelo and Marlene Tedesco of Connecticut. He was a graduate of Holy Cross High School in Waterbury with the Class of 1979. For the past 13 years, Tom and Lisa have owned and operated The Lobster Pool in Rockport. The well known restaurant was Tom's passion and he truly enjoyed serving and talking to his patrons. Though Tom grew up in Waterbury, he has many friends in the Cape Ann and Waterbury community. He was an avid sports enthusiast and especially enjoyed watching the New York Mets and New York Giants. Tom will be remembered as a very kind and loving husband, father and friend and will be greatly missed by many. In addition to his wife Lisa and his parents Angelo and Marlene, he is survived by his children Thomas, John and Michael Tedesco, David and Debra Somers, all of Rockport; his sisters Karen Tedesco of NY, Lisa Tedesco of Waterbury, Martha McGee and husband David of Gloucester, Mia Breau and husband Derek of Charlestown; sisters-in-law Kimberly Wright and husband William of Rowley, Laurie Kelly and husband Joseph of Exeter, NH, Wendy Waring and husband John Hillner of NYC; many friends including his five "brothers" Al Nadeau, Robert Greene, Bill Moriarty, Tom Monnerat and Gary Pelosi; and many nieces and nephews. His funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, August 18th at 11 a.m. in St. Joachim's Church, Rockport. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, August 16th, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Burgess & Mackey Funeral Home, 201 Main Street, Rockport. In keeping with Tom's wishes, his ashes will be scattered at sea.
