Thomas "Tom" John House, 78, of Anderson, passed away on July 17, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Tom was born on April 30, 1946 in Anderson to the late Norman "Tom" and Bonnie (Hudson) House Redick.

Tom attended Madison Heights High School. After high school, he owned and operated Clean-A-Magic Dry Cleaners for 10 years. During that time, he also began working for General Motors and worked there for more than 30 years until he was transferred to Delphi and worked there as a supervisor until his retirement in 2002.

Something Tom loved to do was go boating. He owned a house boat on Brookville Lake and enjoyed their summer home on Tippecanoe Lake for a number of years. His greatest joy though, was his beautiful blended family. He had a special place in his heart for his grandchildren, who will miss him terribly.

Tom will be dearly missed by his wife, Liz; children, Kim Ritchie-Price, Kori (Leroy) Thomas, Troy House, Brenda (Chuck) Sprinkle, Trevor Scott, and Ben Scott; brother, Tim House; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and one on the way; and many extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Tommy House.

The visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM, Friday, July 19, 2024 at Bozell Funeral Homes-Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013. The funeral ceremony will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 20, 2024 at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Miller's Cemetery.
