Thomas James Scharold, born on March 24, 1980, in Covington, KY, was sent to his eternal home on March 4, 2025, in Florence, KY. He was the beloved son of Tom and Cindy Scharold.
Tommy, or Little Tom, as he was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. We ask that you remember him for the way he lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Tommy is survived by his loving parents, Tom and Cindy, and his brother Jay (Leigh) and nephews Julian and Morgan. He leaves behind aunts and uncles who adored him dearly, as well as a host of cousins who shared in his joyful spirit.
After his graduation from Scott High School, Tommy attended Redwood School where he made countless friends. There wasn’t a place he could go without seeing someone who knew him and was glad to see him. Tommy loved to watch wrestling and was a big movie fan with John Wick and Blade being top of the list.
Those who knew Tommy will remember him for his infectious smile and “thumbs up”. He had a gift for making others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path.
The family will receive friends to honor the life of Thomas James Scharold on Sunday, March 9 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Pride Park in Taylor Mill (Main House).
