Thomas M. VanDorn, born on May 19, 1968, passed away on August 21, 2025, at the age of 57. He was a beloved member of his community and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Thomas was predeceased by his father, Raymond VanDorn, his mother, Dorothy (Randall) VanDorn, and his brothers, Timothy and Scott VanDorn. Their absence has left a void that will always be felt by his surviving family.

For many years, Thomas dedicated himself professionally at Teke Corp in Rochester, where he was regarded as a hardworking and committed employee. Outside of work, Thomas had a passion for the Dallas Cowboys, a love for NASCAR races, and a deep appreciation for the tranquility of nature. He could often be found cycling down picturesque trails or enjoying peaceful afternoons fishing.

He is survived by his  wife, Tina M. (Burgio) VanDorn, as well as his cherished children, Mark VanDorn and Brianna VanDorn. His legacy will also continue through his sisters, Anna Howard, Cindy (Deldric) Bratcher, Dawn Howard, and Mildred (Joseph) Jackson, alongside his brothers, Raymond, Allen, and Philip VanDorn. Thomas also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, each of whom holds special memories of their time with him.

Friends and family are invited to gather to honor Thomas on Thursday, August 28th, from 4 PM to 6 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, located at 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. This will be an opportunity for those who loved him to come together, share stories, and celebrate a life well-lived.
