Thomas E. Williamson, 89, went home to be with the Lord on March 17, 2024.
Born in Philippi, West Virginia, he lived in Belington, West Virginia. Tom graduated from Belington High School and retired from Akron Standard/ITW after 30+ years. He liked working on his cars, as well as painting them. But most of all he enjoyed being with his family, especially his grandkids and great grandkids.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Barbara Williamson; son, T.G. Williamson; daughters, Robin Williamson and Traci (Gary) Williamson (Wallbrown); grandchildren, Krystyna, Jason, Kendall, Taylor; great grandchildren, Rance, Trinity, Degan, Rowan; and brother, Doug Williamson.
Family and friends will be received Friday, March 22nd from 4 to 7 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44312. Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 23rd at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Amy Shaw and Pastor Ann Fisher officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
