Mrs. Tijuana Denise Kanipe Beason, age 67, of Harriman, TN passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025. She was born on April 18, 1958 to Charles Kanipe and Charlene Ratledge Kanipe in Rockwood, TN. Tijuana loved reading all types of stories on her Kindle and playing games on her tablet. Her most memorable moments were spending time with her husband, James Burnette and grandchildren and planning everything for special family gatherings. Tijuana showed her love every day to each of her of family members and she will be missed every day. She is preceded in death by her parents: Charles and Charlene Kanipe. She is survived by:
Husband: James Burnette from Harriman, TN
Sons: Charles Kanipe (Kimmy) from Kingston, TN
Nichoma Kanipe (Melissa) from Knoxville, TN
Noal Beason (Kimberly) from Cleveland, TN
Brothers: Kenneth Ladd (Kathy), Teddy Ladd (Phyllis), Roger Ladd (Jolynn), Claude Ladd, and Charles Ladd (Erica)
Numerous grandchildren: Melinda, Alex, Charlie, Joseph, Jaselyn, Marion, Jacob, Spencer, Logan, Cynamon, Julie, and Jacob
Family will hold a Celebration of Life at Roane County Park in the cottage on Sunday, June 22, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mrs. Tijuana Denise Beason.
