Tim L. Hudson

Tim L. Hudson, 79, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at his home. He was born August 1, 1946 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to the late Mildred L. (Ogden) and Edward L. Hudson, Sr.
Tim was a very faithful man who loved the Lord Jesus Christ. He was a generous man who lived a life of sacrifice with his first priority being his family. Tim was an avid golfer. He loved to play cards and board games with his family and enjoyed bowling. Tim was a fan of the UCLA basketball, Dallas Cowboys football and the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball teams. Above all, he loved the Lord and treasured the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Tim is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda (Nellis) Hudson; children, Gary (Alicia) Mette, Tamara Mette, Clint (Shanna Shelton) Denton, Jackie Lynch, Sharon (Solomon) Mhango and Crystal (Jonathan) Harris; grandchildren, Mya Shelton, Ava Shelton, William Denton, Jax Shelton, Andrew Jones, Madelyn Mhango, Solomon Mhango, Nehemiah Mhango, Dehlu Mhango and Tobias Mhango.
In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his brothers, Edward Hudson, Jr. and Terry Hudson; and sister, Sharon Louise Hudson.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave., Evansville. A Funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Tim Garrett officiating.
Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
