Timothy Todd Shoemake, age 43, of Williamson, passed away March 8, 2025. Timmy grew up in East Point and then moved to Jonesboro where he graduated in 2000 from Mt. Zion High School. He was very athletic and played football and baseball. Timmy loved his career of 19 years in the elevator business. He was a loving and devoted father to his children and enjoyed taking them camping and to amusement parks. He was the most devoted and loving husband who worked so hard for his family. He was a servant at heart and served at NorthRidge Church every week. Those who knew him couldn't help but love him. He was so strong but with a kind heart and calming nature.
Timmy was strong in the Lord, but gentle in spirit. He was Confident in his Lord, but humble as a man. He was sure of who he was in Christ, and yet inquisitive of knowing Him better. Timmy was a picture of love; the love of Jesus dripped from his garments. He laughed often, played hard, and worshipped with an emotion as real as there ever was! Timmy is with Jesus; and he is with his Leland. To God be the glory! Until we see you again.
He was preceded in death by his son, Leland Shoemake, brother, Michael Goss, grandmother, Martha Womack and his PawPaw J. C.
He is survived by his wife: Amber Shoemake; children: Logan Shoemake and Lana Shoemake; father: John Shoemake (Bonnie); mother: Ollie Hoover; siblings: Brian Goss, Preston Hoover, Kevin Shoemake, Brent Goss (Tierra), and Melissa Shoemake; many nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, 2 p.m., at NorthRidge Church of Thomaston, 430 Hickory Ridge Road, Meansville. Pastor Marc Pritchett will officiate. Burial will follow in Moody Memorial Gardens in Zebulon.
